Chateau de Lartigolle Wedding

Chateau de Lartigolle is an 18th century chateau and wedding venue located in the south of France, in Pessan. As a destination wedding photographer it’s the kind of place you might only dream of especially when the people you’ve been invited to photograph are as kind-spirited as Deirdre & Steven.

Our time in the Gers region of Southern France was brief but memorable. We took the train from Paris to Toulouse and then sped off on the motorway to Auch located 15 minutes from the wedding venue. From then on you simply don’t ignore anything you witness: the quintessential southern French countryside and its rolling hills; the glorious hospitality of the venue staff; the sweet and welcoming presence of Deirdre, Steven, their family, and their guests; the laughter that filled the smallest spaces of the local church and the sprightly priest who caused it to erupt. Only the most beautiful and minimalist details are needed at a destination wedding such as this one, when you’re in an environment that dances with some of the most atmospheric golden light and the company of fine folks.

With my European passport at the ready, I would love to photograph more weddings throughout France whether you’re planning a grand chateau wedding or an intimate event in Paris. Beyond capturing the most elegant details of your day, my focus is on you and the community you’ve gathered (most of whom have travelled from afar, I’m sure).
