A Cheakamus Centre wedding is more than a location in the woods: the venue, nestled in the beauty of the Pacific Northwest, feels like a hug and an opportunity to feel grounded.

To enjoy the perfect wedding day in Squamish is to be in nature and there’s no better venue than the Cheakamus Centre for exactly just that. Before we entered this delightful treehouse in the woods, we explored the grounds full of stunning secret corners, moss covered trees, and gravel paths. We gathered and sat on wooden benches for an intimate ceremony in a clearing. We enjoyed the dappled light and the little round birds that rested on Mercedes’s veil on the ground. It was a joining of families, too lovely to describe adequately but to be in their presence is to know an outpouring of acceptance and love.

We were delighted to have the opportunity to work with Tomasz Wagner who photographed our wedding last August. We cannot possibly share what a magical experience it was! Tomasz is truly masterful… we were completely blown away by the incredibly artistic photographs which captured the mood and emotions of the day in such a beautiful and honest way. We are beyond impressed with not only his skill but his high level of professionalism, immense kindness and amazing personality. All of our guests were gushing over him! Choosing to work with Tomasz was the best decision we made. Throughout our wedding day and in the months beforehand he made us feel completely comfortable and at ease. We were delighted when we first laid our eyes on his photos… they are stunning, artistic, unique and beyond beautiful. They bring us to tears and we cherish them! Tomasz is friendly, warm, humble and insanely gifted! We couldn’t be more thankful for our experience with him and have the utmost love, respect and gratitude for his great contribution to our wedding.
