A Newmarket-on-Fergus, Co. Clare, Ireland wedding at the historic Dromoland Castle. A fiery romance between an Irish woman and an Englishman who blast through Brooklyn together on a scooter on the weekends and make peace through the many genres of music that move them
After a whirlwind few months of weddings, elopements, conferences, and field trips we arrived at what could have been a quieter than usual June in Vancouver. But a serendipitous meeting with Siobhán & Julian in New York in the fall of 2014 led to us discussing a full month of traveling through Europe and figuring out flights, sights, and what we wanted to make of this trip
And then we found ourselves arriving at Cork Airport, driving westward around the Ring of Killarney and the Dingle peninsula, and settling into an AirBnb in Ennis to prepare for the big do: a walled garden in full bloom, a place with some sentimental value (located in a county where Siobhán was brought up) and one they would be proud to share with first time visitors to Ireland
This is a preview from Siobhán & Julian’s celebration, full of the quiet gardens that endeared them to this place and great craic all around. Thank you for showing us this devastatingly beautiful part of the world. We certainly hope to be back soon
Venue: Dromoland Castle in Newmarket-on-Fergus, Co. Clare, Ireland
