I’m particularly proud of these images from Angie & Adam’s Vancouver Art Gallery wedding. There was something about the light in the city that day that followed us into Stanley Park and doubled back into the downtown core creating the most fantastic shadows. Even the light that filtered into the rooms at the Loden Hotel was the stuff of dreams. And, these two—connected and loving with extra healthy doses of spirit in their personalities—made for a cracking good time all around

Up until two months before their wedding date, I was fully expecting to photograph Angie & Adam on the Sunshine Coast. Realizing this location wasn’t working for them and many of their guests, they dove right into the heart of the city and had their wedding ‘re-planned’ by Jessica Minnie of Petite Pearl Events. She rounded up the best wedding vendors in Vancouver and got it all done in one month. She convinced the Vancouver Art Gallery to allow A&A’s french bulldog to walk down the aisle with them. She made things so much easier for everyone involved and needless to say, it all went down as one of the best parties of the year
