While my first wedding in Pemberton held the sun sky high and fierce all day long, my second of the year felt a bit undecided on the weather while it cycled through rain, fog, and sunshine over Green Water Resort. I always remember a wedding day like this one. The kind that trades in any expectations in return for unadulterated love, love, and more love. The kind that welcomes you with open arms and makes you one of its own. I’d be remiss not to start off this journal entry with thanking Kelly, Cam, and their families for the warmest of welcomes. So, here’s to you–and thank you. They kept it easy, they kept it fun. When the fog rolled in, they embraced it and each other. When the rain followed, they let it kiss their shoulders as the valley revealed itself. They did it their way through and through and as the sun burned through the clouds, all you could hear was the laughter of delightful humans being themselves / being goofs and enjoying each other’s company
And at the centre of it: love, love, and more love
