Paris is the kind of place that grows on you with each visit. It’s wild, interesting, busy, mesmerizing, and pulsing with the kind of energy you can’t find anywhere else. I’d like to think this is exactly what drew Alyssa & William to Paris in the first place and why, four years later, they would find themselves planning an intimate destination wedding to recreate their favourite travel memory: their time at Fete de la Musique. They had their first look on the lock-less but no less romantic Pont des Arts, their ceremony by the lovely River Seine, and their reception at the delicious Les Amis des Messina. Between all of these events, we walked the Parisian streets as you do; found shade and pigeons in the corners of the Louvre; and took in the good vibes and sheer energy of musicians, dancers, locals, tourists, young, and old while we made our way through the largest street party in Paris
My goal with every celebration I’m invited to document and be a part of is to capture the way it felt. So I hope you feel the warmth of these new friends, the heat of summer, and the energy of those who bring Paris to life
