If you’re ever in New Delhi the first thing you must see is the Lotus Temple. Take it from me and leave everything but the camera behind.

Mel and I laid low and took the last few days of our time in India to relax but we set aside enough time for New Delhi. The more than endearing Bhowmik family planned our last few stays with a visit to a few historical attractions, a cultural arts and crafts market, and the unique tastes of Indian food to fuel us. Sadly, the camera stayed at home for most of the days except when we visited the divine Lotus Temple. All Baha’i Houses of Worship (like the Lotus Temple) share the same type of architectural elements. This one, inspired by the lotus flower, was built by an Iranian architect by name of Fariborz Sahbain in 1986 who now lives in Canada.
