To be exactly who you are, certain in your dreams and the support you offer each other in living them. Marissa & Lebron coexist in a world where cats rule, rap saves lives, and the unconventional is celebrated. They had a modern wedding at Cecil Green Park House in Vancouver, planned and designed by the incomparable Petite Pearl Events. To borrow from Wagner & Co. (because everything distilled in the wedding film we made, found its own personality and form in the images and gifs below):

This may or may not have happened during our last wedding of 2017: a rave inside Cecil Green Park House; rolling up in a Rolls; cheeky personal touches in everything from signage to soundtrack; walking down the aisle with your grandma; a bride and her stand-up comedy routine and a mic drop; the best smile we’ve ever seen from a groom about to make the best decision of his life; dance moves we’re not worthy of documenting; the brilliance of Vancouver’s finest wedding vendors breaking open their craft and letting all the goodness flow in (ahem, Petite Pearl Events); moments of tenderness and mayhem wrapped up in a love for each other and the people who hold them up.

I count every opportunity to collaborate with my mates at Wagner & Co. Film a special one: you might remember this wedding film we dropped a little while back. Thanks also to my second shooter, Rachel Pick, for lending your talented eye. There was never any doubt whether we should push our limits at and for this modern wedding, especially with the openness and trust both Marissa & Lebron offered every glorious step of the way.
