A preview of Cait & Naveed’s colourful and very brilliant Nita Lake Lodge wedding in Whistler, BC. Catholic Canadian-born Southern girl hippie princess meets Georgia-born and raised Indian-Pakistani first generation American Muslim boy wiz kid (their words, not mine)! After crossing paths at the hospital they worked at and accidentally leaving papers there only to retrieve them in exchange for a 100 Grand chocolate bar, the story of Cait & Naveed persisted through surprise birthday brownies and a long distance relationship.

The rest is history. We’ve been dating long distance from that summer of 2013 on until I came home after graduation May 2016 (he proposed winter of 2015). Flying back and forth all those times, one of the things that kept us holding on was knowing we’d fall right back into it (and in love again) at that Atlanta airport curbside pickup.
