Their wedding at North Arm Farm in Pemberton would have us sharing quiet moments while finding pockets of light in the woods, just before the colours and sounds of their intimate Hindu ceremony would sweep us in a flurry of drumming, dancing, and wildly brilliant energy. They held red and white flowers, celebrated as the mist from the farm’s sprinklers cooled us down a notch, enjoyed their reception in North Arm Farm’s beautifully converted barn, and embraced that magical feeling of being newly married as the last of the light in Pemberton melted away.
