There are still so many corners of British Columbia I’ve yet to explore, but the one place I’m grateful to keep coming back to is Ucluelet. It’s not as well known as Tofino, its cousin to the north, and I’d argue that’s what makes it extra special for an intimate destination wedding like Talia & Christian’s. They got ready together in a suite at the Black Rock Resort, raised and assembled their own chuppah, blew bubbles at dinnertime, toasted their friends in the wine cellar, scrambled over rocks during sunset, and closed off the night with a bonfire on the beach. In this part of the world, old growth trees lean away from the sea, rocky shores are a playground for light and shadows, and the sea kisses everything
