On a beautiful day in July, we took a seaplane over to Vancouver Island and arrived at the Wickinninish Inn in Tofino to join these legends for their intimate destination wedding.
The gorgeous temperate rainforests and Salish Sea surrounding Tofino keep calling us back, this time to the legendary Wickaninnish Inn. Lucky for the bride’s parents, they get to enjoy this majestic wonder all year round. It was a party for the ages:
Brooklyn meets Tofino’s botanical gardens and beaches. Surfing in fog. Sideways kisses. Beauties in white on one of Tofino’s many majestic rocky shores. Eating freshly shucked oysters with a view that can’t be beat. Humans having the best time of their lives sharing moves that’ll burn up any dance floor. Eva and Ray hired us specifically for our love of Super 8mm film and capturing secret, special moments between the humans in their lives. Glorious humans who’ve never been in the same place, at the same time—together. They wanted us to capture their wedding in the only way we know how, and to surprise them with the things they wouldn’t see (or remember).
