Don’t mind me: I’m just over here taking in the sights and sounds of your wedding day at the Garfield Park Conservatory and inviting you to do the same. Not that I had to remind these two. Alexandra & David understood the assignment more than I could have ever imagined, and taught me how to make the most of the moment. To enjoy it, and life, without abandon.

No matter where we are in the world, we love to spend quality time with each other. We continue to excavate the time before we met to get to know each other more and more.

Most of all, we love to remind each other how fortunate we are—to have each other, to have so many loving family and friends, and to be able to enjoy it without abandon, as we’ll continue to do for the rest of our lives.

We often say “we have the best life.” Short and sweet and to the point—we have the best life.

And it showed in the way they moved throughout their wedding day. From having their dearest friends alongside them while we hung out on a quaint and beautiful corner of Chicago, to having their ceremony at Garfield Park Conservatory officiated by the same.

From taking in the breeze as the birds flew overhead, and delighting in the tropical vibes of the Garfield Park Conservatory as the laughter and clink of glasses filled the space.

Don’t ever wake me from the dream that was two lovely days with this duo and their community, and getting to be the one to capture it from the inside-out.
